If you are looking for a way to contribute volunteer hours to 90k, but aren't sure where you can volunteer, one good resource for you is http://www.volunteermatch.org/. Volunteer Match allows you to enter the geographical location where you would like to volunteer as well as a Keyword (ex. literacy) and provides you with possible volunteer opportunities in your area. There is also a search for Virtual Volunteer Opportunities that have no set location and can be completed anywhere you have access to the Internet!
Another great resource if http://www.charitynavigator.org/. This website dubs itself as 'Your guide to Intelligent Giving', and lists different criteria related to each organization (ex: mission, size, allocation of funds raised, etc.). You can search this website for charities and issues that are near and dear to your heart and hopefully find a local chapter of an organization that can use the assistance of a wonderful volunteer like you!
